for the cat. Annie begins to pick some roses.
- Norman enters.
- Norman hides in the bushes, where Annie finds him. She berates him for
coming to her house, but Norman will have none of it. He informs her
that he couldn't get a hotel in Hastings, so they are going to East
Grinstead, instead.
