This is the Engineering Duty Officer (ED) homepage. The MIT 2N U. S. Navy officers are from the ED community.

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the sponsor for the 2N program.

The Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (CDNSWC) is the one of the U. S. Navy's premier research and development centers for naval ship design and engineering.
