Getting Help ------------ A) From your friends Most likely, you know some people who have taken 6.001. They can be helpful in helping you debug, but be careful that they don't solve the problems for you! B) From the course staff 1) By email We encourage you to email 6001-get-ready@mit.edu with your questions, but you will have to be very specific about what code you are working on and how it is failing. We may not get back to you immediately. You can also email 6001-help@mit.edu, which goes to the 6.001 lab assistants. They aren't currently being paid for helping people, but a bunch of them are nice enough to answer questions anyways. 2) By IM/zephyr If you catch us online, fire away. There is also a zephyr class manned by people who answer 6.001 questions called "6.001" 3) In lab The lab assistants are not staffing lab during IAP, but I'll be in lab 3pm-5pm on Friday and Monday. If you want to call ahead, the lab phone number is x3-7976.
