6.003 Tutor
Please try out the new 6.003 Tutor at
http://flahp.mit.edu/tutor/1
You will be prompted for a username (same as your Athena username) and password
(first three characters of your Athena username
followed by the last three digits of your MIT ID number).
Please complete Assignment 1: Practice with CAT-SOOP,
which is a short exercise to familiarize you with the tutor.
Then try out the tutor with Problem Set 1.
The first four problems are identical to those listed under the "HW and Handouts" tab of the
6.003 homepage.
However, the tutor allows you to check your answers!
The tutor also allows you to submit your work on the Engineering Design Problems (EDPs)
as a PDF file, which will be graded by a human.
If you work directly on a hardcopy of the EDPs, you can submit
a scan of your work as a PDF file.
Alternatively, you can submit PDF versions of documents you
prepared elsewhere (e.g., using LaTeX).
Homework 1 is due on Wednesday, September 14.
