6.033 Spring 2008: Preparation for Lecture 3

Read Ch. 2.A+B and Ch. 3 (pages 5 through 19).

This lecture will discuss the design of computer systems using modular abstractions. It introduces the three fundamental module types (memory, interpreters, and communication links) and explains how with names one can compose modules.
