Preparation for morality recitation
Read Parts 1 and 3 of The Moral Character of Cryptographic Work by Phillip Rogaway. Also read the "Conclusion to it all", which begins on page 44.
This paper contains many footnotes. You don't need to read every single one. Read the ones that are interesting to you, and skip the rest. (It can be distracting to constantly switch between the main text and the footnotes.)
As you read, think about what parts of the paper are applicable to scientists and engineers in general, not just to cryptographers.
Since this is the last week of classes, there is no question due for recitation, but we do expect you to attend and participate in recitation.
