Checkoff/VideoTaping schedule has been posted. Since it's a tight schedule
please make every effort to be on time!
- Please upload the Final Project
video release pdf under "Submit PDF" to allow us to post the video on the course website.
- Tue: Clean out your tool kit and check in with staff.
- All benches must be clear by Wed 12/14 5PM. Let me know if you wish to keep your setup for a few days to show your project to your friends. Many projects are just awesome. We can accommodate you.
- Wed 5p: Your project report is due by MIT rules at 5PM on Wed 12/14. However, I won't start reading the reports until Friday Monday at 10AM - so I'll grant any requests for extensions. Your written report grade is worth 5% of your total grade. This is how the points will be distributed:
- Technical content of overview/motivation: 0, 0.5, 1
- Logical, readable diagrams and timing (if appropriate) 0, 0.5, 1
- Enough details so the project can be replicated by a fellow student 0, 0.5, 1
- Discussion on tricky circuits/challenges/measurements of interesting signals (if appropriate) 0, 0.5, 1
- Lessons learned, advice for the future projects, 0, 0.5, 1
- Upload your complete project in ONE ZIP file under "Submit Verilog"

mechanics, labs, final project, key dates, grading and policies.
- We will be giving demos in the 6.111 lab (38-600) on how to use
the logic analyzer and FPGA labkit -- info you'll want to know for completing
the labs!
- Bring the Tool Kit Signout form
to John Sweeney (38-501) to check out a kit of parts, tools and test
equipment leads you'll need to work on the labs. The lockers are located
in Bldg 38 sixth floor hallway.
- Students graduating under the pre-2016 EECS curriculum can use 6.111 in
lieu of 6.UAP. See the instructor for more details.
