Abstract |

We
will implement a smart audio system that adds additional functionality
to a CD player. The
system allows a user to continuously modify a musical piece¡¯s intensity,
tempo, pitch, and timbre through simple movements of hands. A digital
camera will detect the change in motion, which will be used to select
and modify the digital filters used on the music input. The altered
version of the music will be heard through a set of speakers. Changes
in the music and the filters in frequency domain will be observed on
a video.
