Abstract |
|||
The Hypersonic Security
System is design to protect small to medium sized objects from potential
theft. The system uses several security features: a pressure sensor,
a motion sensor, and a laser net. The pressure sensor detects any weight
differential, for instance, the protected object being removed. The
motion sensor detects any motion in proximity of the protected object.
The laser net is a collection of lasers mounted on a frame that creates
a web of laser beams; any disruption of the beams sets off the alarm.
Possible additions we might add are an ID card reader, or a phone call-in
function.
