On each trial, two tone-complex bursts having the same total power and cetner frequency are presented. The first burst is a simple tone with frequency equal to the center frequency. The second burst consists of a compex of N equal power tones with an intertone spacing equal to the center frequency times the frequency ratio, where N is one less than the number of times the pairs are played.
