Ways to comment

The following methods can be executed in any order

1. Click "comment" button: the video will automatically pause and open up the comment editor with the current timestamp
2. Keyboard Shortcut "C": has the same effect as the "comment" button
3. Drag a range: When clicking in the timeline, if you drag (from left to right) you can select a time range and the comment editor will automatically open with the correct timestamps
4. Draw and highlight directly on the video: If you click and draw your mouse (from top-left to buttom-right), the video will pause, a yellow highlight will be visible, and the comment editor will open automatically with a timestamp from the current frame

: There is a highlighted section associated with the video. If you click the comment time, it will appear

Keyboard Shortcuts

spacebar: plays/pauses video
c: opens up comment editor and adds current video time in starting time input box (it will also close the comment editor if the textbox is not focused)
esc: closes out of comment editor and hides a drawn rectangle over the video if it exists
m: mutes/unmutes the video

If you are navigating through the comments, you can use the up/down arrows with the spacebar/return to select a different comment
