Installing LabVIEW on your Linux Computer

I have only tried this on RHEL 3.0, but it should work on most recent versions of Linux. You will first need to install the run-time engine for LabVIEW.

It is available free from National Instruments. The 8.01 programs were compiled with version 7.1.1 of LabVIEW, so you should install that version (the most recent version is 8.2).

Here is the link to get the runtime engine: LabVIEW. If this link does not work, go to the NI support page and choose Drivers and Updates:All Versions from the menu at the left of the page and look for LabVIEW.

You can download the compiled Linux code for our 8.01 experiments from this link.
