Information on Final Exam
When & Where:
The final exam will be held on
Tuesday, May 22 from 9 AM - 12 noon in Johnson Athletic Center.
Exam Content:
There will 6 problems which should take about 2 hours; you will
be allowed three hours.
The material covered includes the entire course through Ch. 41 in
the text and also the Notes of Assignment 13. There will be somewhat
greater emphasis on the material since the last test. There will be no
quantitative questions on magnetic materials and dielectrics. The equation
sheet that will be available with the test is available here,
in either postscript or
PDF formats.
Topics that could be covered are listed below.
As usual, you are responsible for basic content of lecture
demonstrations.
It is a closed book exam.
You may not use a calculator.
You are not allowed to bring any notes.
Useful mathematical/physical relations will be provided with the exam.

Exam Review:
Prof. Bradt will give exam reviews in 26-100 on Monday and Wednesday, May 14
and 16, during regular 8.02 lecture hours.
