Course Information: Grading

Grades

Grades are not matched to a specific curve in this subject. If everyone in the class does well, everyone can get an A. Grades will be assigned based on your overall, weighted class average using the weighting scheme presented below. In addition, to pass the course, you must have a test score that is 55% of the total number of test points, as indicated below. The break points for A's, B's, etc. are given in the second table below. Throughout the semester, you will be provided with periodic guidance for how to evaluate your performance up to that point.
