Alternatives
After interviewing Chemistry department faculty and students regarding usage of our target chemicals, we began research into possible alternatives. These alternatives have been selected based on reduced toxicity and environmental impact compared to the original compound used. We hope to initiate substitution of these alternatives for commonly used chemicals.
