American Institute
of Chemical Engineers: Institute for Sustainability (IfS)
The IfS sponsors conferences and events to: “…encourage
the incorporation of sustainability concepts in engineering education…develop
education programs that explain the role of engineering and science
in creating a more sustainable future…and…facilitate
the development of measurement tools, framework(s) for guiding design
of more sustainable (green) products and processes, and the identification
and prioritization of R&D and technology needs in the area of
sustainability.”
Royal
Society for Chemistry: Green Chemistry Network (GCN)
The Green Chemistry Network is based in England, via the Royal Society
of Chemistry (RSC) and the University of York. RSC publishes the
journal Green Chemistry.
MIT
Energy Club
A student driven organization, the MIT Energy Club brings together
members of the community with an interest in renewable and sustainable
energy research and development. Click on this link for events sponsored
