The Edgerton Center was named for Institute professor Harold "Doc" Edgerton, known for his fun with strobe experiments. Our
Outreach Program has grown from demonstrations with strobe lights and high-speed video, to include almost any topics that will allow to have some hands-on fun.

You GO Girl is a four-day summer program, JUST for girls. Rising ninth graders come to the our Center (on the MIT campus) for a sampling of science and engineering fields mixed with high school preparatory sessions. Our 2008 program is now full and we are no longer accepting applications.
