Edgerton Center Academics Programs

The Edgerton Center sponsors a number of different UROP positions: from teaching electronics courses to working with 4th - 8th graders to designing your own UROP project. UROP positions are available at the Edgerton Center throughout the year. For electronics or design UROP's, please contact Jim Bales, x3.6178, . Throughout the year students may also come to the Edgerton Center for help with independent projects for which they may need a workplace, test equipment, access to a shop, or simply advice and encouragement.

Current openings:

The Edgerton Outreach Program is always looking for UROP students to assist with mentoring and teaching of our science outreach activities. These activities include: working with 4th-8th grade students from Cambridge and many other school districts, Home-Schooled students and MIT sponsored groups working on hands-on projects.
