Become a Friend of the McGovern Institute!
Role of the Friends
- Friends increase the Institute's visibility by sharing their own enthusiasm for discoveries made by McGovern Institute scientists.
- Friends support the Institute's scientific mission through a $1500 annual contribution to the Director's Discretionary Fund, as well as by sharing their leadership skills in science, business, finance, education, communication, and other fields.
- Friends help the McGovern Institute develop new relationships with individuals, academic institutions, foundations, and corporations dedicated to furthering the advancement of neuroscience in the United States and abroad.
Membership Benefits
- Membership in the Friends of the Institute provides special access to, and understanding of, the latest developments in neuroscience research.
- Friends interact directly with renowned McGovern scientists at an Annual Meeting at the Institute in Cambridge, and at more intimate educational and outreach programs throughout the country.
- Friends receive McGovern Institute publications, as well as invitations to lectures, symposia, and other special events throughout the year.
