Gifts at all levels benefit the Institute, and unrestricted gifts are welcomed in support of the Director's Discretionary Fund. Gifts may also be restricted in use and designated to create endowed or current-use funds in support of specific research projects and programs, graduate and postdoctoral fellowships, annual symposia or lectures, or for capital equipment needs.

The McGovern Institute's new home is at the epicenter of neuroscience at MIT and offers donors naming opportunities within a world-class scientific and architectural collaboration that is designed to lead brain research in the 21st century. Naming opportunities include a dramatic two-story Reading Room, Principal Investigators' Laboratories, Seminar Rooms, Faculty Offices, Tea Rooms, and Indoor Terraces.

Your gift can also help us create new knowledge by providing support for cutting edge research projects—support that enables our investigators to move forward with their research and attract additional public grants and awards. We seek to create the private/public partnerships that are essential to scientific progress.
