MIT Israel
I have had an absolutely wonderful summer living at the Technion and working at IBM. My project was directed enough to make it clear what the general design and implementation goals should be, and open-ended enough to allow for all sorts of thought and discussion about the specifics of our end result. During my time here, I've been able to travel around the country — to Rehovot, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Herzliya, the Dead Sea, and Masada. I've also learned some of the language. I could have been in Boston, working at a not-terribly-exciting internship with the people I'm used to seeing, but I decided to come to Israel — and I'm so glad I made that decision."
