Chikara Hayashi Fund
The MIT-Japan Program offers Chikara Hayashi Fund seed funds in conjuction with the MISTI Global Seed Funds.
The Chikara Hayashi Fund grants seed funds for meetings, travel, and symposia between MIT and Japanese researchers. Seed funds provide the resources to launch projects with faculty counterparts in Japan in conjuction with other regions in Asia in the area of ocean engineering, nanotechnology, and environmental sustainability. The maximum award is $30,000.
