Welcome!
The MIT Mining and Oil & Gas Club is a new student group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The club is intended to connect students with common interests in the mining and oil and gas with other students, industry, and inventors. We regularily host events on campus, and get together to discuss topics related to the industry.
Our projects and events
- Lecture Series: Biweekly lecture presenting a relevant subject for the MOG industry.
- Mining Bootcamp: Yearly program introducing to Geology, Project Finance, Operations, Safety, etc.
- Chilean Mining Industry Field Trip: Yearly program that connects MIT with Chilean mining industry.
- East Africa Trip: Project that seeks to connects MIT community with East Africa issues in mining.
