Letter from the Vice President of Recruitment
|
Have you thought about joining a sorority at MIT? You may have some questions about Panhellenic Recruitment MIT style. If you haven’t noticed yet, sororities are a lot different here than they are at other schools. At MIT, sororities are about finding a place where you feel comfortable as an individual as well as feel supported by your community. The six chapters on campus are full of diverse and inspiring women: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Phi, Kappa Alpha Theta, Pi Beta Phi, and Sigma Kappa. Each sorority has a distinct personality, yet all are founded on similar values. Along with intangible benefits such as friendship, support, and encouragement, sororities also provide opportunities for academic excellence, leadership, community service, and networking. This fall we have formal sorority recruitment from September 5th through September 9th, and all undergraduate women are welcome and encouraged to come check it out. Take some time to explore each of the sororities that MIT has to offer and hopefully you’ll find one that’s right for you! If you would like to learn more about our Fall Recruitment Schedule, please click HERE. If you would like to like to be invited to learn more about sorority life at MIT and attend our first party, SIGN UP TODAY! Sincerely,
