Overview
This feature is useful when
planning on WBS elements and internal
orders for the life of a project. However,
it can cause inaccurate numbers if
planning on cost centers.
You can use the Summary Statement and
the Account Managers Report to reflect the
total planned amounts over all fiscal
years. The Account Managers Report allows
you to enter a range of fiscal periods and
years to see planned amounts across fiscal
years in one report run. When you run the
Summary Statement, you can enter only one
fiscal period and year at a time. If you
want to see planning for the next year,
you need to run the Summary Statement for
the next fiscal year.

planned on a WBS element from period 3 of
fiscal year 2000 to period 11 of fiscal
year 2001. Fiscal year 2000 and fiscal
year 2001 each contain $6,000. You can use
sap-edu, the Practice environment,
to work on this example.
