Double Major in STS*

Leads to one diplomas with both majors listed.

Fourteen subjects as follows:

  • One STS HASS-D subject
  • Six other STS subjects forming a coherent group of study
  • One Capstone Seminar (STS.091 or STS.092)
  • Pre-thesis tutorial (STS.ThT)
  • Thesis (STS.ThU)
  • Four related humanities subjects (3 can overlap with GIRs)

Students must submit a petition to the Committee on Curricula that indicates the desire to work for this double major. The petition must be approved by faculty advisors in the two appropriate departments before students complete the entire program.
