Please Note: Support of the student computing clusters is handled by a variety of groups. While many groups operate outside of business hours, you should expect responses Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm We encourage you to use our Main Computing Clusters Help Form when asking for help.

Main Groups Involved in the Support of the Student Computing Clusters:

  1. Academic Computing - Installation & Spaces Team
    Hardware Issues
    (workstation not working, physical space problems, etc.)

  2. Athena Consulting - OLC
    Athena Issues
    (linux/unix software questions, print queue issues, general athena usage, etc.)

  3. MIT Facilities
    Physical Space Issues
    (water leaks, broken locks, etc.)

  4. MIT Campus Police
    Emergencies
    (physical safety, theft, etc.)
