1. MSI Information
• Updated 09.06.03, removed HKCU keys and the files in the Favorites folder to decrease startup times. If you installed prior to 09.06.03 you should uninstall the existing version first and then install macromedia_dreamweaver_mx_1.msi. Users settings should be preserved.
• Repackaged MSI from MIT Site License media using InstallShield AdminStudio.
• During the build two registry keys, both under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\Extension Manager.exe were not included. They were added to the MSI and for reference they are:
• (Default) REG_SZ C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Extension Manager\Extension Manager.exe
• Path REG_SZ C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Extension Manager;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Macromedia
2. Configuration Issues
• Users will need to know that their local extensions and configurations are using the Macromedia multi-user file locations - H:\WinData\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration.
