1. MSI Information
• Repackaged from vendor media using InstallShield AdminStudio.
• Had to use snapshot due to nested installers. Removed the following files/keys:
  • Files were ok
  • HKCR, HKCU ok
  • Remove control and print under HKLM system
  • Remove Hardware profiles under HKLM system
  • After build, finalize with the following settings:
  • Remove HKLM\Microsoft\...\Run\qttask.exe (quicktime system icon - doesn't refresh settings between users when running)
  • Create [AppDataFolder]Quicktime and move all the favorites files under [CommonAppDataFolder]Quicktime there, then remove [CommonAppDataFolder]. After this change HKLM\Apple\Quicktime\ "SystemPreferences" and "LocalUserPreferences" to point to [AppDataFolder]Quicktime not [CommonAppDataFolder]Quicktime.
• Works with IE and all netscape compatible browsers (netscape, mozilla, firefox).
