1. MSI Information
• Due to a bug in the AutoCAD MSI this installer only works on Windows XP (see bugs below for more info).
• Base MSI built via the network installation setup wizard included with Autodesk products.
• ACST's final version is identical except that it removes the desktop icons which outside of being on the desktop caused the program to reinstall everytime it was clicked.
• There are 2 MSI's and 2 MST's required to install the product:
• Autodesk Map MSI and MST - acadmap.msi & autodesk_map_2004_082903.mst
• Autodesk Map Raster MSI and MST - ard.msi & autodesk_mapraster_2004_082903.mst
2. Configuration Issues
• No Known Configurations.
3. Known Bugs
• This installer only works with Windows XP. Autodesk has a fix for the installer failing on Windows 2000 machines but we have no plans at this time to incorporate it.
• There was a bug saving to roaming profiles ( http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=3374001&linkID=2475323 ) . The UserData.dll is incorporated in the current file structure.
