1. MSI Information
• This MSI was repackaged from the MIT distribution with InstallShield AdminStudio using installation monitoring.
• After the capture, the "downloaded installations" directory was excluded and the HKEY_USERS branch was excluded.
• The MSI required the shortcuts to be directed to the correct files and icon files as the capture points to a temporary location.
• The file updatetool.exe was removed from the MSI to stop it prompting for version upgrades.
2. Configuration Issues
• As this is a node licensed version, we included the mit license readme file within the program directory and created a shortcut called "read this first" in the start/programs folder. A user will have to enter the license number into the program when it is run the first time, afterwards they should not have to do this regardless of which machine they use.
