Note for users of SGI-only software: SGI (Silicon Graphics) machines will be leaving the Athena Computing Environment in June 2003. You will need to find substitutes that run on Sun or Linux machines if you need to continue using such applications on Athena. Please note that this applies only to Athena- non-Athena SGI machines will continue to be supported at MIT at current levels for the forseeable future.
