MIT Athena Computing Environment What Runs Where | software table

It is not practically feasible to test all of the many hundreds of Athena applications for Y2K compliance. However, we have contacted the vendors of the major Athena Third Party applications listed below and have asked if current releases are Y2K compliant, or have looked up vendor statements about Y2K compliance on their Web sites. We are not aware of any other current release of an Athena Third Party application that is not Y2K compliant at this time.

Of the untested applications, the vast majority (over 90%) do not have any functionality depending on dates.

• Matlab - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Mathematica - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Numerical Recipes - Y2K ready (see vendor statement)
• SAS - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Splus 5 - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Stata - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Tecplot - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
• Xess - Y2K compliant (see vendor statement)
