Please refrain from talking while the films are in progress. Thank you. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- PROGRAMME 7:00 Photon 1-3 9:05 Photon 5-6 _Photon_ takes place on a remote desert planet, far from the hustle and bustle of galactic life. Photon himself is sleepy, but super-powered. His nap is disturbed yet again to rescue his sister, and in the process he awakens an alien in suspended animation, which, in turn, awakens the creatures who were chasing her. As hyperkinetic as this series is, it's easy to see why so many of the characters are short on sleep. _Photon_ has a story, but it doesn't get in the way of some of the most intensely over-the-top physical comedy and character interaction to grace anime. As the story unfolds, it grows darker, so that the last two and a half episodes are a bit of a change. From the team that created Tenchi, with some of the same mystical technology that helps make Tenchi so interesting. Warning: There's a fair amount of equal-opportunity nudity in this series. 10:40 I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs 1-4 Hibiki is an earnest young college graduate with new ideas about education. But he can't land a job (as a physical education instructor) until a nearby private girls' school has an opening. Only, they only hire women.... Hibiki's landlady, desperate for her rent money, comes to the rescue, transforming Hibiki the man into Hibiki the woman, and (s)he lands the job. But the vice-principal is suspicious... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- You have received this message because you are on the MIT Anime Club's email list for showing announcements.
