MIT Intercollegiate Volleyball Club


Team: MIT IVC is the MIT graduate student club team, consisting of graduate and undergraduate students interested in improving their volleyball skills and competing against club teams from other colleges and universities. IVC receives generous support from the MIT Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation, Club Sports division.

Practices: Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:30

Tryouts: All players interested in playing with MIT IVC must attend a tryout that is held in early Fall.

Competitions: Matches and tournaments run from November through April, culminating in the 2006 NECVL Championships. Check out our schedule for upcoming competitions and results.

League: IVC has been a member of the New England Collegiate Volleyball League since its inception in 1995. The team took 1st place at the 2003 NECVL Championships and won the consolation bracket in the 2004 championship.
