Dr. Jeffrey Hoffman, a former NASA astronaut, flew five shuttle missions and was inducted into the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame in 2007. Hoffman is now a Professor of the Practice in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics but still has close ties with NASA.
