Undergraduate Admissions

As MIT students don't select their specific course of study until the end of their freshman year, all freshmen and transfer students are admitted to MIT through the central admissions office, without input from the academic departments. At the end of your freshman year you'll have the opportunity to select the course of study you'll pursue during your time at MIT.
