Visiting Aero-Astro

We'd like you to be our guest for a personal tour of Aero-Astro's fantastic array of facilities — from our exciting Learning Laboratory to our legendary Wright Brothers Wind Tunnel. Our department headquarters is in the Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory, MIT Building 33. (For information about visits and tours of the rest of the Institute, see the MIT Information Center's Web site.)

For prospective undergraduate students: If you'd like to take a tour of the Aero-Astro Department, please contact Beth Marois at bethamar@mit.edu at least two weeks in advance. Tours are offered at 1 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays. Please include in your email the date you'd like to visit us.

For prospective graduate students: Because our Aero-Astro graduate program is research-based, we encourage prospective grad students to become familiar with our research labs, and select one or two that they are most interested in to visit. For graduate students there is no general tour — each visit to our department is lead by a graduate student and is personalized so that it will be as informative as possible. To arrange a lab tour, please contact Beth Marois at bethamar@mit.edu at least two weeks before you'd like to visit. Lab tours are available Monday through Friday; please include in your email the date and time you'd like to visit.
