Research Interests
Dr. Masha Maltz is a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva, Israel, where she heads the Human-Computer Laboratory. Her research interests include: human-computer interaction, human factors pertaining to an aging population, human visual perception, visual search and eye movements, automated aiding and alerting systems via augmented reality, and information visualization. During a post-doctoral stay at AgeLab during the academic year 2001-2002, Dr. Maltz researched visual search and perception issues pertaining to older consumers. She also studied older driver acceptance of in-vehicle driver safety devices. Dr. Maltz is currently continuing with these lines of research.
Dr. Maltz holds an M.B.A. in computer methodology from Bernard Baruch College, CUNY and a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from Ben-Gurion University. |
