Research Interests

Richard A. Marottoli, MD is an Associate Professor in Geriatric Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. He is MIT AgeLab's first Fellow in Geriatrics and Technology.

His research interest is in functional ability and disability in aging, particularly as they relate to driving and transportation. He has published widely and is Chair of the National Research Council's TRB Committee on the Safe Mobility of Older Persons.

Dr. Marottoli received his MD and MPH degrees from Yale University School of Medicine.
