1. AIAA Undergraduate Teaching Award
Students should nominate an instructor who they feel has exemplified the role of a "great teacher." This role may be filled by the instructor's responsiveness to student concerns, outstanding teaching ability, willingness to provide help outside of class, etc. Please choose an instructor who you feel has fulfilled this role in teaching one of your classes during this academic year. 2. AIAA Undergraduate Advising Award
This award recognizes faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellence in serving as academic or 16.621/16.622 advisors to sophomores, juniors and seniors in the department. It is meant to go to someone who has gone above and beyond the duties of a basic academic/project advisor and has made a real positive impact on your time here in the Aero/Astro department.
- You may only nominate your own academic advisor or your own 16.621/622 advisor from THIS academic year.
- Please briefly explain why this person deserves the advising award, and cite examples whenever possible.
