Abdulrahman bin Ismail Tarbzouni عبد الرحمن بن اسماعيل طرابزوني is currently managing Google's expansion into new markets in Emerging Arabia.

Between the US and Saudi Arabia, Abdulrahman has headed different projects in information technology, financial trading, product design and strategy consulting within Blueprint, Oracle, Morgan Stanley, Atos Origin, and held a seat on Microsoft's Board of the Future. He co-founded a number of tech ventures with the most recent one, Syphir, winning the MIT $50K Arab Entrepreneurship Competition in 2009.

In his previous role as a strategy consultant for Oracle, Abdulrahman worked directly with the VP of Strategy and successfully developed an overall business strategy for Oracle to win-over the largest share of a vital market valued at $39 billion USD.
He founded SETLA (Saudi Entrepreneurs and Technology Leaders Association) in which he co-organized the first MIT Global Startup Workshop (GSW) in the Middle East. He is also a member of the advisory boards of multiple non-profit organizations including Meedan and the US Academy of Applied Sciences.

Abdulrahman is a fellow of the Young Arab Leaders and was appointed Ambassador to the "Innovation for Peace" initiative sponsored by the UN and the World Summit for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is a founding mentor of the Mohammed bin Rashed Foundation's Sawaed ICT initiative.

Abdulrahman was named by Arabian Business as one of the most influential 30 young leaders in the Arab World on the annual “30 under 30: The Next Arab Generation Leaders” list. His work has been honored by heads of state and leaders of industry and featured in international media. Abdulrahman was unanimously chosen to be the first recipient of the MIT ASO Science and Technology Achievement award.
