Animations
- Simulation of the orbit of the ultracool subdwarf LSR 1610-0040 around the Milky Way, as visualized using Digital Universe. The simulation goes from 500 Myr in the past to 500 Myr in the future at a rate of 12 million years per second. In the middle the motion slows down by a factor of 100 as the star passes by the Sun. Small clusters of stars indicate the locations of globular clusters, while the wire mesh surfaces in the center of the Milky Way indicate the approximate extents of the Bulge and Bar.
