About Me
I am currently a Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I received my Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT in June 2013, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of California Davis in 2009. My teaching and research interests center around analytics and applications of optimization and analytics in healthcare. As a Ph.D. student at MIT, I worked on developing the course The Analytics Edge together with Professor Dimitris Bertsimas.
"Personalized Diabetes Management: A Robust Optimization Approach," D. Bertsimas and A. O'Hair (submitted).
"An Analytics-Based Approach to Designing Clinical Trials," D. Bertsimas, A. O'Hair, S. Relyea, and J. Silberholz (submitted).
"Learning Preferences Under Noise and Loss Aversion: An Optimization Approach," D. Bertsimas and A. O'Hair, Operations Research (forthcoming).
"Computation in Multicriteria Matroid Optimization," J. De Loera, D. Haws, J. Lee, and A. O'Hair, ACM Journal of Experimental Algorithmics, December 2009.
Teaching
I will be co-teaching The Analytics Edge in Spring 2014 (15.071). I will also be co-teaching Data, Models, and Decisions (DMD) and The Analytics Edge for the Executive MBA program in Spring 2014. We are currently working on an online version of The Analytics Edge through MITx, scheduled to be released in Spring 2014.
