MIT Annual Commencement

MIT CommencementThe annual MIT Commencement Exercises mark the end of the academic year and display the achievements attained by MIT graduates. Our team has over 20 years of experience with the production of this prestigious event. Each year, we capture the conferral of over 2,000 degrees through a live webcast via MIT Cable. In addition, the exercises are recorded and made available by purchase to the friends and families of each graduate.

Dedication of Ray and Maria Stata Center

Stata CenterThe newly constructed Stata Center was dedicated with a ceremony that hosted speakers such as President Charles M. Vest and Provost Robert A. Brown. AMPS offered a live webcast and video recording for the MIT community.

ISN Virtal Tour

ISN homepage The Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies (ISN) is a collaborative research project between the United States Army and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with their industrial partners. The collaboration will create lightweight molecular materials to equip foot soldiers of the future with uniforms and gear that can shield them, heal them, and protect them against chemical and biological warfare. view case study>

System Design & Management

SDMThe System Design and Management Program is a graduate-level program that is jointly sponsored by MIT’s Sloan School of Management and the School of Engineering with 20 Industry Partners. The goal is to educate future leaders in architecting, engineering, and designing complex products and systems and to prepare them for careers as technically grounded senior managers. AMPS supports the program by connecting MIT students to multiple industry leaders in order to enhance their learning experience.

Singapore – MIT Alliance

SMAThe Singapore-MIT alliance (SMA) was founded in November 1998 to promote global engineering education and research. SMA brings together the resources of three academic institutions and provides students with unlimited access to exceptional faculty expertise and superior research facilities. AMPS supports this mission with its team of video technicians, digital media specialists, web developers, and support staff. During the 2003-04 academic year, AMPS led the production of 1,325 hours of live beaming sessions between MIT and Singapore and 940 hours of streaming media. AMPS also operated and maintained seven interactive distance education facilities, managed a collaborative web publishing platform, and supported the course administration of over 50 courses.

MIT World

MITWorldAMPS records and encodes MIT World events and forums for on-demand access on the web. In addition, AMPS maintains and manages a streaming server for the MIT World program.

Dalai Lama Visit to MIT

Dalai LamaThe Dalai Lama was the featured guest at a two-day conference at MIT called, “Investigating the Mind: Exchanges Between Buddhism and the Biobehavioral Sciences on How the Mind Works.” The conference drew a crowd of over 1,000 participants. AMPS captured this event for the MIT community.

Technology and Development Program
Malaysian University of Science and Technology

MUSTMIT’s Technology and Development Program and the Malaysian University of Science and Technology collaborate to promote cooperation between industry, academia, and government; to inform industry of technological developments; and to transfer technology whenever possible. AMPS facilitates this objective through the use of video production, digitization, CD-ROM production, and Stellar course management system.

Neuroscience CD-ROM

Neuroscience CDDuring the summer of 2003, The School of Science offered a three day event entitled: Fundamentals of the Brain and Mind: A Short Course in Neuroscience. AMPS was tasked with providing the video acquisition for the course and converting the recorded content. The result was a multimedia presentation that included 12 sessions and over 6 hours of lectures. In addition, the double CD-Rom set was duplicated into 100 sets with full color labels and packaged as gifts for alumni.
