MIT Center for Real Estate :: website redesign and content update
After having a website for several years, the Center for Real Estate felt it was time to refresh and reorganize. AMPS studied the site’s usability, redesigned the information architecture and navigation, and updated the look and feel.
MIT-USGS Science Impact Collaborative (MUSIC) :: website design
for self-publishing
MIT and the U.S Geological Survey joined forces to promote collaborative planning in science-intensive policy disputes. The new website allows them to publish on demand and provide leadership to science, management, and policy groups.
Web Development
Sloan CourseFest :: online course selection tool
MIT Sloan Educational Services department provides course information from many sources to students preparing to bid for classes. AMPS created a tool that unites all information in a structured user experience that lets students shop for course information before bidding.
okiproject.org :: website redesign for self-publishing
As Open Knowledge Initiative prepared to publish version 2 of their specifications, they needed to publish timely information for those in the open source community who were making development decisions. This website not only updates information on O.K.I.’s progress, but also transparently integrates new information from community members on the site.
Multimedia
Kerberos for Windows Icons :: redesigned Kerberos application interface
with new graphics
Kerberos is the network authentication software used by MIT. AMPS worked with Information Systems & Technology to update the look and feel of the Windows application.
Museum
Loan Network Virtual Exhibition :: still images with sound on existing
website
The Museum Loan Network coordinates loans of artwork to participating museums. To support this endeavor, AMPS created a database back end for a website containing virtual reality panoramas and still images. AMPS also maintains and hosts the MLN website.
