Video Production FAQ

  1. What is the difference between a single camera package and a multiple camera package?
  1. A single camera production is one way to record your session, whether it is a classroom recording, or a faculty presentation taping. In a single camera production, the videographer will follow your lecture, capturing both you and your lecture materials (i.e., PowerPoint’s, chalkboard work or overhead).
A multiple camera production provides the crew with the option to switch between multiple sources; two or more cameras as well as a scan converted computer image. Multiple camera productions can either be remote controlled with a small production crew, or fully operated for large productions such as colloquiums or commencement.
  1. Why would I use the Studio instead of field production?
  1. Studio production allows the crew to film in a broadcast recording studio set with the possibility of integrating post-production special effects. A single camera package can be used to record your interview or lecture as a head shot. A multiple camera package allows you to use various participants or material during the recording.
