Projects for Thursday: - Vacuum remaining grimness from vehicle interior - Remove all 12 body-to-frame bolts. THURSDAY - 8 PM - BROOKLINE I may be held up at work until 9 PM, but Steve will be there around 8. Bring yer breaker bar if ya got one! SCHEDULING DEPARTMENT: ---------------------- * Friday will probably be a day off. * Body lift will occur on Saturday (preferred) or Sunday. We'll need a big turnout. Anyone have major conflicts? * Engine removal will probably occur this weekend as well. * Beautiful weather has been scheduled to facilitate our progress. PROPULSION DEPARTMENT: ---------------------- * Chris Johnson is looking into doing a pedal-driven waterwheel off the rear bumper. One (maybe two) pedalers would sit, facing astern, on a bench attached to the trunk lid. The power transmission would thus not have to penetrate the watertight passenger tub, and the seating capacity would go up. There would also be more room for pedal travel. Rudder would still be controlled by steering wheel. Suggestions welcome. * Chris has also volunteered to reconnoiter the Swan Boat workings. FAVORS DEPARTMENT: ------------------ * The outlook for borrowing an engine hoist is getting sunnier.
