Although our luck may change tomorrow, we were not able to get authorization today for either the Dock 32 or Parking Elevator plans. Therefore, we are running on Sunday Plan B: Sunday - 12:30 PM - Brookline We'll be taking our Good Neighbors policy to a bold new level, grinding until the cops pull the plug. Why? Because we're going to move somewhere tomorrow. Sunday plans: - Grind mounting points on bottom of car - Weld the central and rear sections of pontoon runners in place - Begin patching body holes - Clean upholstery Accomplished Sunday: - Pontoon bottom runners welded to central section of vehicle. - Industrial deodorizer applied to upholstery - Various neighbors delighted, pissed off Observations: - As soon as the rear diagonal portions of the pontoon bottom runners, extending from the horizontal runner sections to the rear bumper area, are installed (Monday), the runners will be strong enough in all directions to withstand moving. - Reminder: cut, grind spacer blocks for rear runner to trunk bottom interface. - Karen, Steve, and Scott are working the phones beginning at 8 AM Monday to nail down a new work site. The move is still planned for Monday night. We don't know where we're going yet, or when. We hope to reach a decision by lunchtime Monday. Please stay tuned. Depending on circumstances we may need a lot of help. JULY 4 IS NOW SEVEN DAYS AWAY THAT'S APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK NO NEED TO BE WORRIED, REALLY JUST THOUGHT I'D POINT IT OUT
