Admission is free. The schedule for Friday is as follows: o Irresponsible Captain Tyler 1-2 (subtitled, 25 min. each, PG-13) What makes a person a great leader of men? Is it courage? Is it strength of will? Is it intelligence? With Captain Justy Ueki Tyler, it is none of these things. Watch what really occurred in the career of one of the most well known soldiers of the Federation Space Fleet. See what really happened in the Federation's war against the Larlgon Empire. ****INTERMISSION**** ********************************WARNING************************************ AD Police may take place in the same universe as Bubblegum Crisis, however, the subject matter of AD Police is much more grim and depressing than it was in BGC. AD Police also contains scenes which depict graphical violence and female nudity. If these things offend you, it is strongly recommended that you miss this part of the showing. *************************************************************************** o AD Police 1 - "Phantom Woman" (subtitled, 30 minutes, R) A young Leon McNichol, a member of the Normal Police, is stalked by a deranged female Boomer. Leon manages to kill her, not realizing that his image is imprinted her memory forerer. Leon changes his department, transferring to the AD Police, which specializes in all incidents dealing with boomers. Leon gets to face what it means being part of the AD Police when they are called into stop a malfunctioning boomer. The boomer, before being taken by a volley of machine gun fire, manages to kill one of the AD Police members, Alus. The team returns to base, dejected that they lost one of their members. When Leon and Jeena (a veteran AD Police member) find out that Alus's family will not be receiving his death insurance payment, they vow that they will clear the case so that Alus's family will be able to receive the money. Their search leads them to an illegal boomer recycling ring, where deactivated boomer are brought back to life. However, Jeena and Leon are unaware that the boomer that Leon killed before is stalking Leon.... o AD Police 2 - "The Ripper" (subtitled, 30 minutes, R) A serial killer is killing prostitutes on the subway known as "Paradise Loop." The Normal Police are baffled at the crimes, and believe that perhaps a boomer is involved in the killings. However, one of the members of the Normal Police, a girl named Iris Cara is convinced that the killer is human; she believes a woman is committing these deeds. Her supervisor allows her to investigate the case, along with the AD Police. Having no leads, Iris visits a place called the "Bank" where organic body parts are replaced by cybernetic ones. Her right eye is bothering her, and she wants to know if she should replace it. However, she stumbles across her greatest lead when he overhears about a woman who has had her uterus and ovaries replaced by cybernetic counterparts. Iris can't get her out of her mind. She begins to go into her history, and begins to feel that she has found her killer... o AD Police 3 - "The Man Who Bites His Tongue" (subtitle, 30 min., R) Billy Fanword, a member of the AD Police is fatally injured in the line of duty. Two scientists, Manabe and Takagi, construct a cybernetic body for Billy. Billy becomes the "Experimental Anti-boomer Battle Cyborg 1." Every part of his body has been replaced by robotics. The only parts from his original body that are left are his brain and his tongue. In his metallic body, Billy begins to lose his touch with life. Deprived of all sensory stimulation, he begins to crave for any type of sensation, even pain. He begins to bite his tongue, seeking the pain which tells him that he is still alive. One of the scientists, afraid that Billy will deteriorate before she can present him at a science convention, increases the dosage of DA-27, a sensory stimulant, to Billy. Billy becomes more and more dependent on the drug for sensory stimulation, reaching the point where his brain begins to form hallucinations. The increase in the drug finally unbalances Billy, and he goes berserk. He begins attacking his fellow AD Policemen, and the AD Police is faced with the tough decision of taking down one of its own. ****INTERMISSION*** o Blue Seed 1-2 (Japanese) - R (30 minutes each) Because she is a member of the Kushinada Clan and thus has the power to block Aragami, a girl named Momiji Fujimiya is destined to save Japan from destruction by becoming human sacrifice. Mamoru Kusanagi, in turn, was controlled by Aragami via the imposition of a soul "Mitama". (Mitama is a seed, so this is the Blue Seed of the series.) His mission was to ensure that Kaede, who was Momiji's twin sister and possessor of the same unique power, was not turned over to the human. Aragami wants to capture Momiji and cuts off the power of the Kushinada Clan. Mamoru Kusanagi is now trying to protect Momiji instead of Kaede. There is also the special Land Control Center, part of the Prime Minister's Office Special Committee on Territorial Security. The struggle takes place in Tokyo - and it has just begun! Candy and soda will be sold during the intermissions.
